We all know the feeling.... If you have just started a new class or just got back into it after a break you might experience DOMS.
What is DOMS?
The main cause of DOMS is a combination of microscopic tears in the muscle fibres that result from a workout and the muscle's response to repair the damage. Tiny muscle tears occur when muscles are stressed more than they are used to, or in a new way.
Here are BBL's recovery top tips:
Drink plenty of water
Have a bath
Keep moving! Gentle exercises like walking, swimming or a light jog
Foam roller. Roll the tension away (we use it in the studio)
Gentle stretch
Have a wonderful weekend
