BBL Ballet Barre Laura – Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to classes, courses, private sessions and online services provided by Laura Longato, trading as BBL Ballet Barre Laura (“BBL Studio”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

 

By booking a class, purchasing a course or accessing our online services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

 

1. Bookings and Payments

 

All bookings must be paid for in advance. Your place is confirmed once payment has been received. Course places are limited and reserved for the client who books.

 

2. Course Cancellations, Missed Classes and Refunds

 

Please ensure you can attend before booking. If you change your mind or can no longer attend, course fees are not normally refundable or transferable. Any exception is at BBL Studio’s discretion, subject to applicable law.

 

If you cancel, BBL Studio may take account of whether your place can be filled by another client when considering any refund.

 

Cancellations must be made through Gymcatch at least 12 hours before class. Late cancellations and non-attendance are not normally eligible for a refund, credit or catch-up.

 

Catch-up classes, where offered, must be used within the same course block and cannot be carried forward. Credits are subject to availability and their stated expiry dates.

 

If BBL Studio cancels a class or course, we will offer an appropriate alternative, credit or refund as required by law.

 

3. Class Changes and Cover Instructors

 

BBL Studio may change class times, locations, formats or instructors when necessary. A suitably qualified cover instructor may teach a different but appropriate format, such as Pilates instead of barre, without obtaining individual approval from each client. We will communicate changes as soon as reasonably practicable.

 

If a class cannot go ahead and suitable cover is unavailable, we will offer an appropriate alternative, credit or refund as required by law.

 

4. Priority Booking

 

Clients enrolled on a full course may be offered priority booking for the next block. The booking period and deadline will be communicated for each block. You must confirm and pay by the stated deadline to secure your place. If you do not, your place may be released to other clients.

 

Pay-as-you-go bookings are subject to availability and do not guarantee a place on a future course.

 

5. Barre Where You Are – Online Video Library

 

Barre Where You Are provides access to BBL Studio’s online video library for the period specified at checkout, normally one month. This is a one-off purchase and does not automatically renew.

 

Please check the details before purchasing. Refunds are not normally offered simply because you decide not to use the remaining access period, subject to your statutory rights.

 

Where access begins immediately, we will obtain any required express consent and acknowledgement relating to your statutory cancellation rights.

 

6. Private Sessions and Taster Classes

 

Private sessions must be paid for in advance and are valid for two months unless otherwise agreed.

 

Taster sessions may be transferred with at least 12 hours’ notice, subject to availability.

 

7. Instructors and Insurance

 

BBL Studio may engage suitably qualified instructors, including self-employed cover instructors. Instructors are responsible for maintaining appropriate insurance for the classes they teach. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any legal responsibility owed by BBL Studio or an instructor.

 

8. Health, Safety and Participation

 

Please consider your health and fitness before participating, inform your instructor of relevant health concerns and follow their guidance. Exercise within your own limits and stop if you feel unwell or experience pain.

 

Please wear suitable clothing, follow studio safety instructions and respect other participants. Personal belongings are brought at your own risk, except where BBL Studio is legally responsible.

 

9. Pregnancy, Postnatal and Child Safety

 

If you are pregnant or have recently given birth, please check with your healthcare professional that our classes are suitable for you and inform your instructor of any relevant concerns before participating.

 

During classes involving babies or children, parents or carers remain responsible for their safety and supervision at all times. Keep children safely away from exercise movements and equipment and follow the instructor’s safety guidance.

 

10. Intellectual Property

 

BBL Studio’s class materials, choreography, videos and online content are for personal use only. You must not copy, record, share, distribute or use them for teaching or commercial purposes without prior written permission.

 

11. Privacy and Legal Information

 

Personal information is handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws. These Terms & Conditions do not affect your statutory consumer rights.

 

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the law of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply.
