Whether you've never danced before or you want to get back into the swing of it, our classes have something for everyone. 

The RAD is gradually introducing Silver Swans classes across the world in the next few years. Classes are now available in selected parts of the UK, the USA and Australia, and are open to people of all ages and abilities. Silver Swans Licensees are trained specifically to teach ballet to adults over-55s, but all ages are welcome. Open, fun and accessible, these classes will help improve your mobility, posture, coordination, and energy levels, no matter how old you are.

 

These classes will bring both physical & mental benefits, great for memory and a fun way to socialise.

 

Here is what to expect in one of our classes:

The class begins with a simple warm up before progressing into a traditional classical ballet barre, port de bras, and centre. 

In the final section of the class, we learn a beautiful piece of repertoire from a famous classical ballet. This repertoire builds progressively throughout the term. Past repertoire has included Swan Lake, Don Quixote, La Fille Mal Gardée. The class concludes with a classical ballet reverence and cool down.
