BBL Online tips - It's all about the set up!

The convenience of working out from home or the office is a game - changer.

Working out online isn't for everyone, but maybe it's for you!

After teaching so many hours of online barre classes and gaining more experience, I'd like to share with you some of my top tips for taking a virtual class in the most successful way.

Also, this is a great opportunity to mention that if you never took an online barre class, this is the chance to try it out! Book your free taster. Remember it's not a ballet class and no previous experience is required. Barre is the ideal home workout, it doesn't require much space and we use small equipment, however you can also attend the class without any equipment you'll just need a mat and a chair.

Here are my top tips:

  • Setting up before your session is part of the session.

  • Mirror me

  • Use headphones

  • Use tablet or computer

  • If you can, make sure I can see you so I can give you tips and correct you

  • Schedule your workout at the weekend (book a live class if you can or plan a specific time for your On Demand)

  • Have your equipment ready (you will receive a message from BBL with what you'll need for your class)

  • Wear something that you love!

  • Take as many modifications or breaks as you need

  • Listen to your body

  • Have fun!

I hope to see you soon at the Barre!
